When I said I wasn't very nice I was telling the truth (shocking, I lie a lot, too.) Being kind exhausts me. Taking care of others is an emotional drain. I may have mentioned this once or a thousand times, but don't take anything I say to heart, I don't mean it to hurt you, it's just that inflecting my words with kindness doesn't come naturally to me. Devoid of heart or devoid of sincerity--which is worse? |
